These aromatic, naturally dried Almonds are harvested in the sun drenched hills of Marino Farms in southeast Sicily. Grown on hills just east of the ancient city of Syracuse, the almond and carob groves are well adapted to the hot Sicilian smmers and cool spring breezes. The Tuono variety is a beautifully shaped almond, prized for it's rich flavor and high content of almond oil.

Perfect for making Sicilian pesto, tossed in salads or roasted with fish. The gorgeous shape of the almond also adds luster to baked goods, homemade taralli and breads and fits beautifully on cheese and meat platters. The true taste of the Sicilian countryside!
