The Organic Sesame of Ispica, a premium product rooted in landscapes of Sicily where it is exposed to the radiant glow of the sun, specifically from the charming village of Ragusa. This exceptional sesame is cultivated with a deep respect for tradition and nature, reflecting a family legacy that dates back to the 1960s. Guided by the expertise of generations, our commitment to organic farming practices ensures that each seed is nurtured without pesticides, resulting in a product that is not only gluten-free but also rich in essential nutrients such as iron, magnesium, and calcium. Recognized as a Slow Food Presidium since 2016, our sesame stands out for its distinctive amber color and unique flavor, making it a staple in both vegetarian and vegan cuisines. 

The Gambuzzi Family pay attention to the meticulous production process that begins with sowing in May, in plots carefully selected for their distance from intensive farming. The plants, which can grow up to 200 centimeters tall, are harvested by hand in mid-September, ensuring that each seed is treated with the utmost care. After being dried in the sun in the open fields, the seeds are threshed and cleaned using traditional techniques, preserving their quality flavor.
