Casina Rossa: Life is Too Short for Mediocre Sauce

Casina Rossa: Life is Too Short for Mediocre Sauce

In the rolling hills near Roccascalegna, Abruzzo, the De Laurentiis family has been crafting extraordinary Italian specialties for generations, under the label Casina Rossa. It all started in 1960, Antonio as a farmer and his wife Antonia began preserving their harvest, then selling the jars at the local market.

Today, the next generation leads the company now shipping their jars of sauces to the States! Working alongside their sons Marco and Andrea, second generation Nicola and Paola continue to create award-winning products that capture the authentic soul of Abruzzo. From their own farm's vegetables to locally sourced ingredients, every jar tells the story of a family dedicated to preserving Italian food culture.
Why do we work with Casina Rossa?
  • Four generations of family tradition in Abruzzo
  • Handcrafted using traditional recipes and time-tested methods
  • Made with vegetables grown on their own farm in Puglia
  • Award-winning products, recognized in The NY Times and on Oprah's List
